Lizikr is a Smart Hifz & Madarasa Reporting Platform designed to help Madrasas manage student attendance, progress reporting, approvals, communication, and fee tracking.

This Privacy Policy explains how Lizikr collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users access and use the Lizikr mobile application and related services.

By using Lizikr, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.


Service Availability

Lizikr is currently intended for use within India.


Information We Collect

Account Information

To create and access an account, we may collect:

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • User role (Management, Teacher, Parent)
  • Authentication identifiers required for secure login

Student Information

Madrasa management and authorized teachers may store:

  • Student name
  • Admission date
  • Class information
  • Attendance records
  • Hifz or academic progress reports
  • Parent contact number
  • Fee status information

Parent Access Information

Parents can access only the student assigned to them by authorized Madrasa management.

Technical Information

We may collect:

  • Device information
  • App version information
  • Crash reports
  • Diagnostic information necessary to maintain service reliability

Authentication

Lizikr supports:

  • Email OTP login
  • Phone OTP login
  • Biometric login

Biometric authentication is processed locally on the user's device. Lizikr does not receive, collect, or store fingerprint data, facial recognition data, or other biometric information on its servers.


Notifications

Lizikr may send notifications related to:

  • Approval status updates
  • Attendance information
  • Student reports
  • Fee reminders
  • Service-related announcements

Users may disable notifications through their device settings.


Information We Do Not Collect

Lizikr does not collect:

  • GPS location data
  • Background location data
  • Student profile photos
  • Parent profile photos
  • Teacher profile photos

How We Use Information

Data Storage

Lizikr uses Firebase services for backend infrastructure and data storage.

Primary data processing and storage are configured within the Asia South region where applicable through Firebase services.


Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information.

  • Encrypted network communication
  • Firebase security controls
  • Restricted access to management functions

No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security. However, we strive to protect information using industry-standard practices.


Access Control

Parents

Parents can access only the student assigned to their account by authorized Madrasa management.

Teachers

Teachers can access only information authorized by their Madrasa.

Management

Management users can access data related only to their Madrasa.

Administrative Systems

The administrative web console is designed to display limited operational information, including Madrasa names and user codes.

However, authorized system administrators may technically access Firebase infrastructure when necessary for:

  • Security investigations
  • Technical maintenance
  • Troubleshooting
  • Backup and recovery
  • Compliance with legal obligations

Crash Reporting

Lizikr uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify and resolve application stability issues.

Crash reports may contain technical diagnostic information necessary to improve app reliability.


Data Retention

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for service operation, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security purposes.

When a user requests account deletion, associated information may be retained for up to 30 days before permanent removal from active systems.


Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion through the application.

Following deletion:

  • Access to the account may be terminated
  • Associated information may be scheduled for removal
  • Certain records may be retained temporarily for security, legal, or operational reasons

Data targeted for deletion is generally removed within 30 days.


Children's Information

Lizikr is used by Madrasas to manage student records, including records relating to minors.

Student information is provided and managed by authorized Madrasa personnel and parents.

Lizikr does not knowingly allow children to independently create user accounts.

Parents and Madrasa administrators remain responsible for ensuring lawful collection and management of student information.


Third-Party Services

Lizikr relies on third-party service providers including:

  • Firebase Authentication
  • Cloud Firestore
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging
  • Firebase Crashlytics

These providers may process information as necessary to provide their services.


Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Updated versions will be published with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
